ANSWER TO THE ABOVE QUESTION thanks to corruption and lack of modernisation of government services The govern should take steps like make their services reach the common man directly and bringing its services online like they did with IRCTC and putting automated services tracking systems in place will help. Also there should be transperancy in the way funds are utilised. Its only lack of transperancy that has brought in the necessity for RTI act. If all the government departments can put up stats as to what is the progress of their work on a quarterly just like the private companies declare their quartely results, India can hope to do better. At the moment there is no accountability in government departments
